We were not only inspired by the wonderful taste of Ma’amoul, a middle-eastern pastry filled with dates and nuts, we also celebrate the American tradition of embracing flavors from other lands and bringing them into our own kitchens. Sharing food can break down barriers and remind us that, despite our differences, more unites us than divides us.
