Without Earl Whitebread, there would be no Adirondack Creamery. As a child, Paul discovered the magic of homemade ice cream while working on Earl’s family farm in rural Pennsylvania. Earl made his sweet creations straight from the heart — no recipe, just instinct and generosity. From that first taste, Paul dreamed of creating an ice cream company of his own.
Earl was also famous for his peanut butter fudge, a treat so rich and irresistible it inspired this flavor. When Earl passed away, his grandson Jan — now our production manager of more than ten years — tested hundreds of batches to uncover the secrets behind Earl’s original fudge.
We think we’ve come pretty close. This pint is a tribute to Earl, to family traditions, and to the joy of simple, homemade indulgence.
